When Things get out of Order (Tuesday, March 3)
From the get go, Evangelist Lewis established the fact that God is a God of order. He focused on the creation of the world in general, the creation of man and his subsequent marriage in the garden (ish and isha) in order to establish the fact that God changes chaos to cosmos. This highlights the fact that God wants to do the same in our life however, He has to be given control. The interweaving of the Old and New testaments, Bible stories and current personal experiences have successfully held the full attention of the congregation; those present and also those who join by virtual means.
An atmosphere of expectancy prevailed as visitors and members look forward to the other exciting topics to be delivered in the series.Hallelujah, I’m Born Rich (Monday, March 2)
The fascinating topic had the congregation wondering but not for long. The key text, Ephesians 1:3 was used as the springboard for another power packed message form Evangelist, Michael Lewis. The preacher combines insightful discussion, powerful personal testimony, interesting factual information with the Word of God as he delivers each night. There is a message for everyone each night and each session of approximately thirty minutes is time well spent with the Word of truth.
The preacher’s pronouncement that God has already provided for our needs even before we were born was more than reassuring to all. During the sermon, many Bible – based truths about God’s sovereign care for us was revealed. Visitors and members alike left with the knowledge that God is concerned about all aspects of our lives and His riches in glory is more than adequate to supply all our needs. Hallelujah! we were indeed born rich.
The Party is Almost Over! (Sunday March 1)
The Party is Almost Over! That was the declaration by Evangelist Michael Lewis on the very first night (March 1,) of the Word of Truth Gospel campaign. The interest of the guests and members alike was piqued as he used scriptural references such as Romans 13: 11-14 to illustrate that the world is one big party. The sobering thought was presented that this party is going to be ‘turned off by God’ any minute now in order to bring an end to the revellery, lewdness, lust and other works of darkness.
Like the Prodigal son, we were invited to arise from our stupor as God is inviting us to: wake up, clean up and dress up.
